I'm kind of a mixed bag when it comes to interests. It comes with having ADHD...and maybe just being a crafter in general. But one way I love to combine interests is upcycling. Upcycling is taking something old and giving it new life by combining it with new mediums. This is perfect for Earth Month! If you browse through my links and socials you'll see that I love vintage, and I love making new things. Upcycling is a great way to combine those two interests. Right now I've been working on crocheting new sleeves onto donated sweatshirts. I think they're turning out pretty cool (and more to come!), but they're also saving sweatshirts from [likely] ending up in the landfill. Clothing takes a long time to break down in a landfill, so by purchasing one of my custom upcycled sweatshirts you are also helping to save the planet! Win, win. Some other cool upcycles I have are earrings and keychains made from old slides, and bleach dyed tees. Let me know what you'd like to see more of!
