There is…a lot going on in the world. I’m hearing a lot of rumblings about an economic blackout, and listen. I’m here for it (and not just because I’m not working full time right now…). Billionaires are calling the shots and the rest of us are scrambling for scraps.
That being said, small businesses need you more than ever! Your purchases can make a difference. In college I was huge into buying from fair trade stores. I love culture, I love jewelry and nativity scenes from other countries, and I love supporting people in their small business dreams. I get so happy over every sale I make, and thankfully this page allows me to keep my profits!
So yes. Let’s make a point with our dollars. But let’s look out for each other too! Shop small this season where you can.
